Outdoor Aerial Fiber Optic Cable ADSS, 12/24/48 Core, Single/Double Jacket
The Outdoor Aerial ADSS (All-Dielectric Self-Supporting) Fiber Optic Cable is a high-strength, non-metallic cable designed for overhead installations in power lines, telecom networks, and harsh environments. With 12/24/48 cores and single/double jacket options, it combines durability with high bandwidth for long-distance data transmission.
Constructed with dielectric materials (no metal components), ADSS cables are immune to lightning strikes and electromagnetic interference (EMI), making them ideal for co-installation with high-voltage power lines (up to 220kV). The UV-resistant polyethylene (PE) outer jacket ensures weatherproof performance, while the optional double-layer design adds extra protection against moisture and mechanical stress.
Features:
All-Dielectric Design
No metallic elements - Eliminates corrosion and electrical hazards (ideal for power line attachments).
Lightweight & Flexible - Easy to install on poles/towers without support wires.
Robust Construction
Single Jacket: Cost-effective UV-resistant PE for general outdoor use.
Double Jacket: Inner water-blocking layer (hydrogel/tape) + outer UV-resistant PE for extreme conditions.
High Tensile Strength
Aramid yarn reinforcement - Withstands tensile loads up to 6,000-8,000N (48-core).
Long span support - Suitable for 100-300m spans (depends on wind/ice load).
Optical Performance
Single-mode (G.652.D/G.657.A1): Attenuation ≤0.36 dB/km @1310nm, ≤0.22 dB/km @1550nm.
Multimode (OM1/OM2): Bandwidth ≥500 MHz·km @850nm.
Environmental Resistance
Operating temperature: -40°C to +70°C.
Resists UV, salt mist, and chemical corrosion (IEC 60794-2 compliant).
Safety & Compliance
Flame-retardant options (LSZH jacket).
Certifications: RoHS, REACH, IEEE 1222, IEC 60794.
